What We Wanted to Do:

SKW Schwarz is a renowned law firm with clients like Netflix, Spotify, and notable involvement in the burgeoning field of esports. Our goal was to create a film that introduces the SKW esports focus group in a dynamic and engaging way. Inspired by the dramatic style of esports roster announcements, we aimed to present the lawyers as a team assembled to tackle the significant legal challenges in the esports sector. The film's opening would underscore the urgent need for legal support in esports by showcasing articles that highlight the industry's chaotic legal state, setting the stage for the "Avengers-like" assembly of the SKW esports team.

Section 2: The Execution

Bringing Ideas to Life

What We Did:

We conceptualized the film by closely studying various esports roster announcements. These typically feature players introduced in a dramatic, neon-lit setting, interspersed with highlights of their gameplay. We decided to adapt this approach to introduce the SKW Schwarz esports lawyers, blending the dramatic aesthetics of esports with scenes from the lawyers' professional lives.

The process involved two main production phases:

Dramatic Introductions:
- We used a large conference room at SKW Schwarz, which we darkened to create a dramatic atmosphere.
- Six Armaran Tube Lights were set up in SKW's accent colors, arranged in three rows of two. These lights were sequentially activated as each lawyer walked through the space.
- We added a touch of fog to enhance the mysterious and epic feel.
Highlight Plays:
- On a second production day, we filmed each lawyer performing various tasks in a typical office setting, but with a cinematic flair.
- These scenes depicted lawyers going through files, researching legal texts, and making phone calls.
- We then interspersed these "highlights" with the dramatic walk-out scenes, adding esports commentary and sound effects to create an exciting and engaging narrative.

The resulting film, SKW Schwarz Esports Avengers, effectively blends the high-energy style of esports videos with the professional world of law. It opens with a series of articles illustrating the chaotic state of esports law, followed by the dramatic introduction of each lawyer, highlighting their expertise and role within the team.

The film successfully conveys the importance of legal support in the esports industry, portraying the SKW Schwarz esports team as a group of highly skilled professionals ready to bring order and structure to the field. The combination of dramatic visuals and professional highlights creates a compelling narrative that has been well-received, showcasing SKW Schwarz’s commitment to innovation and excellence in the legal sector.
